The many types of cancer diagnosed every day that affect most parts of the body is over a hundred. The most common type is non-melanoma skin cancer. Akin cancer can be found in two forms. Melanoma and non melanoma skin cancers with over half the cancers diagnosed in the United States being non-melanoma skin cancer. The lowest occurrence is thyroid cancer.
Colorectal cancers are the colon and rectal cancers. Both of these are part of the digestive tract where foot is processed to create energy and body rids itself of waste matter. Bladder/Urethral Cancer begins in the bladder and can affect the kidneys, uterus and urethra. The fifth most common type of cancer, bladder cancer is more common among men than women. If found and treated early, survival rates are good.
Breast cancer is a common among women, after skin cancer. It is second to lung cancer in death due to cancer. Women aged 40 to 55 are the leading group in breast cancer deaths. Leukemia is a cancer affecting the white blood cells. It’s a complex disease with many different types. Acute Leukemia is a complex disease with many different types and sub-types. It can attack both adults and children. Cervical Cancer starts in the cervix lining, which is usually the lower proportion of the uterus, definitely connects to the human vagina. In normal case, cancer of cervical can be effectively treated when found in early stage.
Lung Cancer, a leading cause of death in both men and women is often a result of smoking. Lung cancer cases rise in people over the age of 50 increasing more after age 65. Smoking is the leading cause of up to 90% lung cancer. Prostate cancer starts in the prostate gland, found only in men. Developing slowly, it’s among the most common type of cancer in American men, aside from skin cancer. This is only a small listing of the many types of cancer affecting our body.
